To make a bigger stand, advocacy and design must work together.

To inspire change, our voices must be listened to, not just heard. And we’re not only asking people to include us in their conversations. Instead, we want to invite them to be part of our bigger discussion. But to reach more people today, the kind of effort needed has to be different. We have to retell our story and reframe our response by building on the same thing that we seek and hope to achieve—change.

As a nonprofit organization, you can start growing your influence and impact by simply growing with the times.

Change accompanies growth. While it’s important to remain firm in your advocacies, the same foundations shouldn’t hold you back from conveying your mission and asking for the support you need. Your work is needed right now, and like us, there are many people out there who would be interested to hear from you and find out what you do. You just have to look for new ways to open this dialogue to them.

Because for us, your voice matters as much as your views. It can be a source of hope, a difference maker, and a call to action

People do care about what you say. But in a room full of loud and contrasting voices, it’s easy to get lost in all the noise—you need to learn how to say them better. This is where the language of good design comes in. Here at Sunday, we can help you harness your voice so you can connect the right people to your cause, interpret your intentions beyond words, and encourage them to take action too.

Here are some ways we can give your advocacies a voice:

  • Branding

Having a strong brand identity can help you communicate the right image to your prospective donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries. If you want your audience to perceive you as a credible and reputable nonprofit organization, we can create a compelling brand story, visual identity, logo, and name that would make you easily recognizable, so you can bring awareness to your mission and work, speak to the right people, and inspire others to get involved.

Through branding, we can also help you define your “why” so you can articulate your purpose and message more cohesively to your stakeholders and partners. This significantly helps build your capacity to grow your network, secure partnerships, and attract donations and funding, as donors and institutions are more likely to support organizations they trust and resonate with.

  • Website

For nonprofits, having a website is more than just being online—it’s about using the internet to do more good. If you want to make yourself accessible to a broader audience, we can help you set up a website that people can visit to learn more about your organization’s story, impact, programs, and initiatives. We can also include blogs to cover topics you find relevant, a dedicated FAQs page to answer your visitors’ inquiries, a web form to request their contact details, and a donations page where they can opt to contribute to your cause.

We can also help optimize your website design, user experience, content, and SEO to enhance your visibility to high-intent donors and other nonprofits or partners who might consider collaborating with you for a project.

  • Social Media

If you want more people to see your organization and the work you do, we can utilize social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to regularly post content about your organization and share updates on your ongoing efforts. This way, you can stay connected with an audience that echoes your advocacy, engage with communities that align with your vision, and interact with people or brands who can become your ambassadors.

We can also use social media to launch awareness campaigns, organize fundraisings, gather volunteer sign-ups, promote events people can participate in, or even feature success stories from the communities you serve.

  • Photos and Videos

To convince the generous, it’s not enough to just hold their attention—we also need to move their emotions. And sometimes, it takes more than photos and words to make them visualize the reality that we see. This is where motion graphics come in. Through visual storytelling and animation, we can help translate the missing vocabulary of your organization to give people a better picture of the challenges your beneficiaries are facing and the existing issues you are currently addressing.

From campaign videos and educational materials to program presentations and reels, we can help you create motion videos that attribute more passion to your cause and illustrate your mission in a creative and memorable way.

  • Graphic Design

Another way to get the word out about your organization is through marketing collateral. Just as digital is crucial, tangible is personal—and this is probably why print media is still in. We can help you design presentation kits, company profiles, brochures, flyers, and business cards that you can share and distribute at events, workshops, and conferences. With materials that look presentable and professional, you can surely make a strong first impression.

We can also help you create digital collateral, such as reports, newsletters, or e-invites, that you can use to get in touch with stakeholders, prospects, and leads in your email list.

If there’s one thing common between advocacy and design, it’s that they both serve for the good of people.

We believe that social problems are not only yours to solve. We all have a responsibility to share and a voice to pitch in. As a design studio whose creativity is amplified by the collective ideas of our team, we truly believe that there is power in number. And that is, to move these conversations further, we don’t have to make a deafening noise. We can raise our voices just enough to be heard by doing what we do best—working together

Let us help your organization accomplish more by advancing your mission to the right people and by putting your impact on notice through good design. Let’s work together!
