Providing a numero uno support in hog raising
Uno+ contributes to the development of the local swine industry by providing commercial hog raisers and backyard breeders with quality feeds, veterinary drugs, and supplementary programs that promote their agribusiness and livestock farming.
As their partner (Kabalikat) in growing their income (kita) and livelihood (kabuhayan), Uno+, with our help, sought to curb the effects of the pandemic and the ASF situation by sharing its expertise and experience in pig husbandry, care, and management, and by offering dealership and distributorship opportunities to add to their profits.
The Solution
Guiding pig farmers from wean to finish
Through social media, we created a series of educational content and webinars about the best practices in hog raising, breeding, biosecurity, and farm management. We also worked closely with Uno+ technicians and veterinarians to come up with seasonal tips and guides that our community can consult with in their everyday farm operations.
