About the Brand
The West Village is a premier residential development within Davao Global Township, offering a contemporary living experience refined by the quiet elegance of Davaoeño heritage and elevated by the modern sophistication of township living.
Weaving culture and heritage into contemporary living
Celebrating the crafts that bind the Davaoeño spirit and people, The West Village at DGT features a distinct architecture and interiors inspired by the ethnic weave patterns of Davao’s 11 indigenous tribes. Integrating their artistry into contemporary living, it is where tradition and modernity are seamlessly woven together for a lifestyle that resonates with today’s culturally rooted global Filipino.
Taking cues from the heritage that grounds the development, we studied tribal textiles and rhythmic lineworks, interpreting them into grids and woven forms that are present in the building’s architectural elements. The result is an identity that embeds cultural meaning into every imagery, in which every pattern is a timeless connection to the narrative it carries, and every layout is a nod to Davaoeño precision and poetry.
Crafted from the fabric of Davao’s amazing way of life
We envisioned The West Village at DGT as a modern tapestry woven from Davao’s rich heritage, diverse cultures, and elegant way of life—expressed in vertical and contemporary form through space, design, and living. Weaving this connection into the identity, we utilized the concept of threads for the logo and translated elements of its facade into patterns, colors, and a story that proudly showcase the refined craftsmanship and amazing lifestyle that are signature to Davao.
