PHILSSA

Paving the way for a beacon of a resilient future

Challenge

How do we design an identity that reflects their competence, credibility, and commitment to stronger coordination, constructive engagements, and meaningful social development?

ABOUT THE BRAND

PHILSSA is a wide-reaching national network that brings together non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to address urbanization issues and concerns. It works to develop well-rounded and collective interventions that confront urban living challenges and build sustainable communities for the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized.

Broadening the network’s capability to build capacity

While they have social capital among older and more established institutions, PHILSSA wanted to further enhance the public awareness of their current services and advocacies so they can secure aid and participation from other government sectors and NGOs that can extend essential resources and mobilization support to amplify their cause and strengthen their efforts.

To enable broader opportunities for coordination and collaboration, PHILSSA sought our help to engage stakeholders and partners through a renewed look and messaging that will define and outline their next steps, in enhancing their partners’ capacity to provide support services through research, training, technical support, and consortium project development.

Enriching the core foundations of its brand framework

A step forward to their vision of a resilient future, we expanded the network’s logo with elements that represent their thematic concerns and advance their goal of equitable, gender-responsive, sustainable, transformative urbanization. To put weight on the network’s collective impact, we also created a visual framework that integrates a collage of their endeavors and accomplishments to foster their co-ownership and shared identity as a network.
